Hey, folks, I know in her bio, Tetsuko is described as athletic, and great on sports. And the only thing stopping her now from taking part is that there's no decent challenge to her super-powered condition.
However, judging by how she's done so well in cosplay (and if I've missed my guess, enjoys it thoroughly), that there's quite a bit of geek/otaku/nerd culture appreciation from her. Hey, she was even raised in Japan.
So I'm wondering... is she a jock, a nerd, an envoy between the two camps, or something else entirely? I'm wondering how she fell into the cliques of high school, if she did. And what's her take on the two cultures?

Wow, I wasn't even aware that this thread had been started! Shows how much attention I've been paying to the forums...
I have a rough idea that Tetsuko was orphaned at the age of thirteen or so (just becoming a teenager), and that she came to live in the United States very shortly thereafter. So, while she spent her elementary and part of her junior high years (or the equivalents thereof) in Japan, her high school years took place here in the good ol' US of A.
Beyond that, I hadn't given too much thought to the whole nerd/jock thing, what (if any) cliques she'd fall into etc. I'd like to see what others think.
And who knows, the ideas I like might just get incorporated into Tetsuko's backstory...

To work with Sonya she would likely have to have least an above average grasp on various sciences like biology and chemistry, just in case something went wrong and also so she would cause accident. That might cause her to get her grouped with the nerds and Tetsuko seems like too nice a person to do something to hurt their feelings.
On the other hand she would have to be fairly athletic to get the tone she had before the transformation. Could be she found that she enjoyed working out during training for a sports team and thought about making a career out of it as a body builder.
Don't know if either ideas are right or wrong, but just my thoughts on the topic.
