TCC = Tetsuko Cosplay Calendar

Not only a patriotic theme for the month of July, it's also a "Tick Two-fer!"

I was having a hard time finding a patriotic-character theme for July this year; I've already done some of the most obvious ones, and others are obscure Golden-Age heroines like Liberty Belle that even die-hard comics fans wouldn't necessarily be familiar with.

Then I came across the book The Tick: Mighty Blue Justice! in my library. It's a compendium of information about The Tick in his various incarnations in comics and TV... and reminded me that there was a heroine named "American Maid" as part of the supporting cast of the animated TV show! Perfect.

Then, as I was searching the Web for better reference pics of American Maid, I found pics of the live-action TV show's version: Captain Liberty!

So here's Tetsuko as "American Maid", wielding her weapon of choice!
