It's become a tradition that I draw and post new art of Carlotta, the Princess of Plunder, for
 International Talk Like a Pirate Day September 19. And part of the tradition, apparently,  is that I totally forget that it's coming up until the day before or so, and then have to jerk something out quick 'n' dirty.I really do want to take some time and care on a really good Carlotta drawing; she deserves it. Maybe next year  This year I decided on a simple portrait style. She seemed to need some more impressive headgear than a mere bandanna, so I opted for a floppy, jaunty hat reminiscent of the type seen in the old logo for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
