David's deviantART Journal

For a few years now, I've registered the domain names tetsuko.com and satinsteele.com, intending one day to use those as the URLs for dedicated web sites for these two characters. Finally, last night, I bit the bullet and set up web hosting for the Tetsuko domain.

I'm trying out a new hosting service, NearlyFreeSpeech.NET, for this site. Their pricing structure - the lowest I've seen per unit of storage and bandwidth and based on actual usage - makes it economical for me to start a new site, and if I like their service and reliability, I may migrate the main site (DCM Studios Online) to the new host.

For right now, there's only a notice saying that the content at the current Tetsuko site will be moved to the new digs soon, and linking back to the current site and to my page here at deviantART. But it's a promising start, I think.

(What really sold me on NearlyFreeSpeech.NET, in addition to their pricing, is their commitment to the freedom of expression of their clients. Their FAQ lists the question "Do you allow adult content?" and their one-word answer: "Yes." The Terms of Service for practically every other webhosting service I've ever read have either banned it outright, or prevaricated so much on what was permissible that their attitude seemed to be "We'd really really rather you didn't, and we'll take down your site if we get any complaints." Even with my current host for DCM Studios Online, I worry a little every time I post something like this [link] - and I don't even draw a lot of really explicit stuff!)

So check out Tetsuko's very own website!

I'd like to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who gave their condolences on the loss of our cat Booger. Your messages of sympathy and empathy have been very helpful. And Pepper (the increasingly-less-"tiny terror") has kept the house from feeling empty, and gives us another cat to love on.

Please know that, even if I can't thank you personally, your watches, faves and comments are always very much appreciated!

have you added to your tesiko comic and are you ever going to make an animated comic cartoon
Sorry to hear about your loss, Boss Man. :/
Hey Dave, if we can't get the next page of "Fight Muscle Girl Fight!", can we get Tetsuko as Wonder Woman? I saw one posted and she's good, but I know you can make certain, ahem, improvements!

Hey DC I was wondoring when ur second comic of Tetsuko will be finished?(Fight Mighty Muscle Girl Fight!) BTW I have to say Tetsuko is like my DREAM GIRL at this point God!!!! I wish she was real!!!! Anyway Good luck in your work I hope Marvel or DC notices ur work and gets you a contract to make LOTS of comic books about Tetsuko and maybe even a MOVIE!!

I wish I could give you a specific answer, but "it'll be done when it's done" is all I can say. There are so many other drawings I want to (plus a few I've obligated myself to do) that I can't bring myself to put everything else aside and just concentrate on the comic.

But I know there are a lot of readers who are, shall we say, "eager" to see the comic conclude soon, and I'm trying to balance things so that everything I want to get done gets done. (Not always succeeding as well as I want...)

And thank you for the kind words!
